"I'm not always happy, in fact, I'm quite often scared. But as I learned last year, being depressed solves absolutely nothing. The only thing it does is makes me sick (literally) and makes other peopel worry - and I don't want to be the cause of other people's grief.
"For instance. The surgery I'm getting next week for the teeth replacement, I'm down-right scared. But I'm looking at the bright side of things: for the first time since I've been born, I'll be normal. I can smile confidently and not have to worry about odd stares from people. I mean, yeah, I'm thankful to have such great friends who make it easy on me to deal with this, but I'll be so much happier to finally have a full set of teeth, you know?
"But I guess it's because I always seem happy - whether it be genuine or fake - that makes other people envious. Like that one girl in our choir class. Remember when I asked you if there are those out there who try to take away from our happiness? Well, she's one of those people whom try to bring me down. But you know what - I laugh and ignore her. Because I know for a fact that I don't need her negative energy pulling me down.
"So to answer your question: No, I'm not always happy. But I try not to be depressed at the same time."
So now I ask you to search within yourselves: "Are you happy?"

Maybe there's no one who's perfect...
xD That question reminded me of Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451
