So today was the last of three days of family life, which was co-ed this year. To make things "funner", I sit next to my boyfriend - who has never had family life or sex education.
He (the teacher) kept trying to play of women as the "victims" and his whole perception of incest makes me shake my head. He claims "incest is when a girl's step-dad, uncle, cousin...etc. molests or rapes her." First off, incest is when any family member, regardless of gener, sexually assaults another family member.
Then he asked me what would I do if my husband were to slap me. My answer was "I'd slap him back." Obviously, he wasn't expecting this. But I've been raised to be a very independent woman - so I don't have to rely on men like other people.
