Have you ever go to a blog you really enjoy? Then after a while you become really loyal to the blogger going on once a week waiting for their next blog. Then they don't do any responses for months. I got caught in that trap now I'm pissed. If you know you have loyal readers than why do you screw them over ?
This is what happened. I posted a comment to Wibbly Bunny the blog I like. (Shes in the baking field which I want to be in and I guess you could say she makes her life out to be perfect. Well none the less I enjoy it.) Anyway, I posted as disappointed reader. I just basically said wear did you go. I wish you would have posted anything . Maybe..Sorry busy I 'm swamped with work so I won't be blogging much for a while. If you know you have all these loyal readers who are all like I'm sorry that happened, loved your recipe. After not writing in two months would you not expect a complaint a comment about not posting. All I ask for is a freaking update. Anything two sentences. This is what she wrote:
"I think you're not getting the whole concept of a blog. First of all, it is MY blog. I post only when I want to and am not obligated to do so when I don't have time. Secondly, it is JUST A BLOG and not my whole life, so real life takes priority over a tiny little fraction of my life that I choose to make public to strangers like you. I'm glad you have taken an interest in my blog, but please do not assume that you have the right to know about me or my life.
But to the readers who are quietly wondering what's going on, I'm rather swamped by work and don't have any spare time to blog. I will write about my trip, or at least some part of it, eventually. In the mean time, you can check out my flickr photo stream for a few photos I managed to post there."
First of all she wrote this lovely message but she couldn't write sorry its busy season you won't being blogs from me for a while. Is it like the Asian thing or rather the China and Japan area where they assume that your suppose automatically understand where there coming from. If you told me I would.
" The part where readers are wondering...." Thats all I needed she just did it with a bitchy attitude and proved my point. I'm suppose to understand or assume after two months shes busy? I guess she doesn't like confrontation. Life sucks get use to it.
I know its not my right after all, I'm a stranger. I've no right to know everything about her life. No one has time to sit in front of a keyboard for that long and write about every detail of their life. Maybe I'm acting like her blog is the greatest thing in the world or its that popular, or maybe she just makes it out to be. A lot of readers seem to think so. If you don't want strangers to read it DON'T PUT IT ON THE F'ING internet . I feel its her obligation to at least say something. What do I know its HER blog?
Thankx,
Ps: Tell me it doesn't sound like she has a stick up her a** or maybe her head is up her a**?
