Week Eleven: You've Got the Touch! So, usually I try to plug song references into my journal entry titles that have some relevance to what I'm writing. Today, however, I just decided to put in one of the best tracks from Transformers: The Movie because I heard it on the radio this morning. SECRET PROJECT UPDATE I promised I wouldn't give out any clues... but I can tell you a little bit about how it's going. Two other people have been added on to the project. It's big enough that we need a small team working on it eek Not-clue: It's NOT Battle System, already I can dispel one rumor right now. This isn't a clue, by the way, it's a not-clue, which is totally different I've decided. The not-clue: It's not the Battle System. Here are a few reasons why: (A) That's way too big for me to work on alone, which I have been doing so far (B) I don't know Java/Flash (or whatever they're making the Battle System in) (C) They already had their Battle System team ready when I was working on Daily Chance What's That I Hear I happen to be situated right next to the main conference room where all kinds of neat things happen every day and new Gaia features are planned. It would be unethical of me to give away company secrets, but... I think I just heard some of the higher-ups talking about making some really cool redecorations to Gaia HQ. Like... really cool! xd Mythrill Armor... O RLY?! So, yeah, new donation items out today. It's my birthday tomorrow (I'm turning 23 ... only a few years left rolleyes ) - maybe I'll treat myself to one of those cool mantles. If they were real-life items, I'd probably get one of those O RLY totes. I need a new man-purse rofl Gettin' old I'm putting another notch on my bedstand tomorrow as I turn 23 gonk Actually, it's not so bad, but a lot of users talk about how weird it is when people over 20 use Gaia. Now, this, of course, is ridiculous. (Hey, that last sentence had a lot of commas!) No, this sentence, in fact, is, what I, Fleep, would, if I'm being honest, call, ridiculous (9 commas! That's a 9:16 word-to-comma ratio!) Er, back to the point: there are plenty of older Gaians, and one day, I hope you all will be older Gaians too! That's not only saying I hope you survive that long, which I certainly hope you do, but that I hope Gaia can stay fun enough (or you stay fun enough) to keep using it when you get older -- that is assuming you don't have one-foot-in-the-grave already sweatdrop RAPH KOSTER zomg, Raph Koster is here. 	I remember Ultima Online with it's "ping-ponging" of stats. And I've heard some decent things about SWG. How long did you think your project would last you? I need some info to base my wild and crazy guesses off of.

	ZOMG I USED TO PLAY UO!!!! O_O dies Erhem...regains self I already wished you a happy birthday in your profile, but I'ma say it again... HAPPY BIRTHDAY! XD And commas = heart As for the older Gaians...yeah, I don't understand people being all "ZOMGOLDERGAIANSAREPEDOSGETYOURGUNS!" I mean, Hell, half the things we use were meant for adults: Nintendo Internet NEOPETS, even O_o Younger peeps don't realize that they took all of the older folks' toys and adopted them for their own use. 	I've lost track of my commas. I usually just use the semicolon to death; its spiffy. I doubt we'll guess what you're working on....but don't blame us if we keep trying! (If its the quest system, I'll be insanely estactic, but I know its probably not.)

	i totally know what you mean about the older users. I'm 20 myself, and i tend to notice people sort of discount anyone over 17 in many areas of the forums.
