Not feeling well ... seems like everyday there's something new wrong with my mind and/or body. Webmd has become my go to consultant who always tells me to go to the ER and who I never listen to. I know there's nothing serious wrong but I just want to feel normal and healthy.
My insomnia had gotten better a few weeks ago, in that once I fell asleep I actually stayed asleep, but now it just takes me FOREVER to fall asleep no matter what I try and I still wake up feeling like a coffee zombie. Last night was bad, I ended up tossing and turning for 5 hours before I finally fell asleep (I moved around so much my kitty left because I kept waking her up ) ... so much for going to sleep early and getting up early. I don't actually mind feeling tired during the day (I'm used to it haha sweatdrop sad) I just can't stand being awake when everyone else is sleeping ... but I suppose I'll be dealing with insomnia for the rest of my life, unless I get prescription sleeping pills but I'm a bit afraid to try that.
Also, my stomach is always upset gonk but I looove foooood!
I spent 3 hours making a somewhat oriental meal a few days ago and I got soooo sick (I think it was the hot sauce, I don't even like spicy food (Ty ate the same meal and was fine!)) and since then I've had tummy aches every time I ate.
scream angry at my tummy! stressed
*sigh*
There are a few other things but they're a bit awkward, plus those are the main ones I needed to complain about.
NOW I'ma lighten the mood (a bit) and say HOW THANKFUL I am that I don't have any serious diseases (literally the most serious diseases I've ever had were the flu and a bit of depression) and that my entire family is also healthy. It's really easy to forget how bad life can get when you or someone you love is deathly ill, and I know the idea is romanticized in books and movies (how people rise above their circumstances), when in real life disease is yucky and messy and it smells bad and often ends with sadness.
So here: go be healthy, don't smoke, don't drink too much, wear sunscreen, brush your teeth and shower everyday, change your socks, eat vegetables and bananas and soft boiled eggs, exercise (what's that saying...practice what you preach?), and surround yourself with people who are good for you.
I hope at least the second half of this post was not annoying, I just needed to complain about how hard my life is!!! (I'm starting to sound like Zuko)
