Time is ever-ticking away! gonk

I'll be heading off to Basic Training in 25 days time, and I'm a bit antsy! I'm going to have to change my profile a little bit right before I leave to make sure that everyone that would matter would know about it.

I'll be absent for the rest of the year, and then probably some more weeks into 2010. I should be staying in Texas for quite a while, though. The base I'm apparently going to be assigned to is in Wichita Falls. No, it's not in Wichita, Kansas! scream

I have to say, I'm not worried that I'm not going to be able to use the internet for so many weeks. I'm not worried about leaving all my stuff behind and having to 'start over' again in Texas.

I'm going to miss the people.

I've left many different places before, most of the times without having to say 'good-bye' to them. But this is a different matter. I've always had the internet to fall back on, and truth be told, I don't think that's healthy for me. It's one of the reasons why I chose to go into the Air Force instead of looking for a college like all the other mundane and boring people in the world. rolleyes

All I'm hoping is that it'll be easy to re-adjust to some kind of normal-cy. But if it's not, I'm just going to have to work harder till something works out.
