Hey anyone who finds the need to read this!

Just got my date for going into Basic Training two days ago. I'm supposed to be moving out to Fort Lauderdale in San Antonio, Texas, on November 3rd. I'm a bit annoyed that I'm probably going to miss Christmas AND Thanksgiving in the real world, but at least there'll be some nice meal at taxpayer's expense! Er... Unless there are budget cuts.
And I got assigned a job too. It's something in Finance, and my recruiter seems to love that I got it... He had a few years where he was in the same job and got bored with it, so he decided to change jobs and be a recruiter instead. Apparently I'll be getting my citizenship within around a year with this job, which is good. Citizenship and "colorblindness" (I still think the test was too fast D< wink were the two things keeping me from a lot more job choices.
We'll see...

Also, I've decided to quit the clan that my friends had put together and sent a clan join request to zOMG! Bite... Oh wait, it's Elite, not Bite? Weird. Anyway, I did this because I'm very aggravated over how stupidly stupid most of the in-game crews are. Some are really just people who want to rush ahead and "win" their strength rather than earn it, and I'm betting that zBITE! (that's my nickname for the clan) is made up of much more interesting people who know what they're doing. And I'm hoping I might learn some more too.

And the etc? Well... I've been dedicating myself to running in the mornings, and I'm slowly seeing progress. Slowly. But still, progress! I'm really optimistic that I'll get better in the next two months...

cry I'm going to miss all my friends as I go into a secluded government area for training... It'll be worth it in the end, but sheeesh... Going to be rough in there for a few days while I make some friends and get shouted down by many a drill sergeant.
