Tired of Waiting
Back at Anastasia's place, she explained about the Phantom's history and how he was stopped before. Aoi was asleep, again. I was feeling a bit drowzy myself. But then I heard something. It was that Phantom's voice again. But Ana said that once you dream about him, you get a kind of link to him. Come to think of it, the night before we encountered him, I dreamt of me, in normal form, engaged in battle at a graveyard.
Next day wasn't all that good. I got drafted into watching a child she adopted. To me, kids below the age of 5 or so are pure torture to me. (My cousin, Ryan, is actually 8, so I'm Ok around him. Back on Tidus, we were known as the 'Sonic and Tails' of the Tidus Brigade.) But I managed to sucker Aoi into taking turns with me so I could get a little rest. I was still wiped from chasing Phantom.
Later on, when it was my turn, some guy called Jareth appeared and lead me to a study hall. He then walked out and came back, with Ana. (I was stucking trying to sing the girl to sleep, but I'm not good with lullabies. They drive me insane. It's why I don't have much slow-paced music on iTunes.) When we gathered around a mirror, I wondered what Jareth was doing. Then, we saw an image in it. There was Melissa, and she seemed to have been healed because I didn't see that cut anymore. Then, I saw him. The minute I did, the sun had set.
I had put Sarah down and wanted to leave and continue the search, but then Ana starting crying. I wiped her tears off, careful not to let my claws cut her. Jareth then kissed her. I looked away, a little disgusted. But, it put thoughts of Princess Sparkle in my mind. I felt like I was near the point of insanity. I had feeling for both her and Melissa, but who did I feel closer to?
Later on, I was out looking again. Good thing there were more dark beasts out. (That's just what I call the solidified dark creatures that I freed from Ursula's pendant.) I got to try out so new combos and get some new attacks, and found a way to unleash my Dark Aura form.
When I got back, I sat down and pulled out a card. One of my allies from the twilight gave it to me. Her name was Sari, the twilight part of Sparkle. (She looke a lot like Naminé, but has finned ears.) She was a card-wielder, and only used them when needed. The card read Soul Restoration. It was a very powerful card that could restore someone from any state, even from being controlled and could pull someone away from the brink of death. If Mel was being controlled, then this would make her come to her senses, but I'd only get one chance to use it.
Days passed as we searched. I figured I try other countries, like Egypt and Brazil. I noticed there were robots around now. Must mean Taiga's trying to get in my way again. After the way I beat up his followers, who were actually the beast me and Aoi beat in the jungle, he must have been boiling with rage, and that's music to my ears, and thoughts. But, he's still somewhere on the planet, so it's my duty to stop his robots from destroying everything in their path. I'd lose places to search for Mel if I didn't smash 'em up.
