Feelings for Her
After a few days of waiting, Melissa finally woke up. I was kinda worried about her. After her transformation and all that energy used up, I thought her body had given out on her for good. But, she pulled through.
The day after she woke up, I was on my Wii, which I stopped by my old home and brought it with me, and I was playing Super Mario Galaxy. Melissa came down from her bedroom. I had just gotten to Bowser's Galaxy Reactor, a.k.a The Center of the Universe, when I noticed her. I switched it off and greeted her. She seemed to blush a little.
Aoi had come back for another go at Super Smash Bros Brawl (I managed to snag a copy before packing up and taking the console), but I decided that me and Mel should have some alone time. She seemed to give off a lot of warmth that even I could feel. It arouse some suspisions about her. But the smell of the Sakura tree (Sakura means cherry blossoms..... I think) from her long, pink hair distracted me. But that smell seemed to pull me in toward her.
For a bit, we were silent, until Ana phoned Mel and yelled so loud through the phone that even I could hear it, and it wasn't on speakerphone either. That woman's got some strong pipes, I tell ya. It was getting a little late, and I didn't feel like waiting around and going werewolf.
As we started back, Mel stopped for a second. I asked what was wrong, but she didn't answer. Her cheeks were a hot pink as she leaned her head toward mine and slowly closed her eyes. I began to get a little red on my cheeks, and then, she romanticly kissed me. Biggest shock I ever got in my life, with the battle against a huge Thunder Beast coming at a close second. (This happened before I started the journal.)
Mel and I stared at each other, both of us surprised. Then, she started running back to Ana's place. I chased after her, but she didn't stop. That little 'magic moment' had kinda drained me a little, so I didn't use my Sonic Dash.
The next day, I arrived back at Ana's place. She asked me what was wrong with Mel, but I didn't tell her about, well, you know. I went with her to get some more stuff for a potion she was working on. I couldn't get Melissa out of my head as the day progressed. Now I was the one who seemed to give off intense heat. I never really felt this way before.
The day after, Ana was banging on Mel's bedroom door. It was getting on my nerves. The pink-haired mermaid hadn't left her room once. They were both yelling and I wasn't exactly used to it. Then she yelled so loud it blew me down the stairs. I could tell she was disturbed, but then I felt a dark presence coming from her room. It felt..... familiar.
I couldn't do anything about it for a while because I landed on my back, which dealt a pretty hard blow to me. Ana let me stay and Aoi stay for the night, and believe me, I needed the rest. Later into the night, she snapped at me and jumped about 20 feet straight up. I'm surprised that Aoi didn't wake up.
We headed to G-clef Cave, a small grotto on the beach, fighting through all beasts that tried to stop us. When we got there, I saw Mel, and her leg had a cut in it. I tried to approach, but then, a man came out from the darkness. It was the Phantom from before. He exerted the same darkness I felt earlier. My claws glowed with dark aura. He began to sing, and it washed over me. I felt dizzy and fell to my knees trying to stay conscious. Then, Mel joined in the song, which really amped up its power over me. This wasn't the kind of darkness I was used to.
I got a glimpse of him grabbing Melissa and running off. The song had ended and I had my strength back. I chased after them until he jumped into a small pool of water. I cried out herr name one last time before they vanished from sight. I was silent for a minute, then let out a huge yell. My fur had changed from blue to black, and so did my jacket. It was black and red. I had become Dark Aura Werewolf Mat.
