Me and Aoi were taking a break in a port town. I was asking around about where Melissa was. I don't know where Aoi went, but she should be alright. Her little stunt from before gave her a strength boost, and weird enough, lets her do my Spin Dash move.
I was waiting by some place called the Sea Shanty when I saw two messed up guys dragging a girl away. Then, I saw some guy in black, wearing a white mask that covered one half of his face. (If his mask covered only his eyes and he had a top hat, I'd mistake him for Tuxedo Mask.) He had a rapier in his hand. I chased after them. The masked guy looked like he wanted to spill their blood all over the place. (As I become more skilled, I learned how to figure out what people are up to just by looking at them.)
I chased them, and had to prevent the mask guy from going into overkill. Problem was, the sailor guys got away when I managed to calm him. But here's the twist: The girl they got away with was actually the girl I was looking for, Melissa.
Then, one of her friends showed up. It was Anastasia, a sea witch-in-training. (Good thing she's not evil.) She saw the sailors drag Mel away and tried to chase them too. Then, she went all giddy upon seeing the masked man, who called himself the Phantom. (I had a bad feeling about him, but I'll worry about that later.)
We continued our pursuit, but I had to run at normal speed so they could keep up, which didn't exactly help. I told them to grab onto my hands and they listened. Once they grabbed on, I charged up my power and burst into my Sonic Dash. This way, we would find Melissa in no time. I heard a splash as we neared the docks, so I had to put on the brakes. Ana ran straight to where the sound came from. I followed and we saw that those guys had thrown Mel into a tank of water.
Ana shouted out to her, but I stopped her to avoid blowing our cover. We hurried to the tank and noticed she was trying to get her head above water. Problem was, in human form, Melissa can't swim.
Me and Ana climbed up to the lid of the tank and opened it, but then those morons that kidnapped her came back. I told Ana to keep them at bay so I could get Mel out. I dove in, grabbed her, and used the tank's floor to propel us out. Next, I ran around her so fast that I created enough wind to dry her off. (If she was wet for too long, she would revert to mermaid form, then she'd be exposed.)
Once I was finished, I summoned the Ocean Omega Sword and helped fight off the sailors. But then, a crowd began to form outside, which we really didn't need right now. I had no choice but to go out there and clear away the crowd. (And not by using my sword. I don't point it at innocent people.) And weirdly enough, Aoi was in that crowd. She took over so I could go back and help.
I saw that Melissa had undergone a transformation. (She looked almost like Sailor Mercury.) The three of us KO'd the others, but one got away. Melissa wanted to chase him, but Anastasia stopped her. I noticed then the other guy who got away got knocked out. Turns out that Aoi went into a Spin Dash and tackled him from behind.
I carried Melissa, who had fainted from using too much magic power, back to Ana's place. (She showed me where it was.) Aoi was swimming the same direction Ana was heading. I felt something weird as I carried her. Almost the same feeling when I was around Sparkle. It...... it felt like love. Was it that I was starting to develop feelings for Melissa?
