"Give me all the money you got." the man said holding my shoulders against the wall.
"I don't have any." I said panicking.
I need help I thought and there it was a policeman was standing next to the robber holding a gun to his head.
"Let go of the girl." he said. He let go and I ran. Once I got out from under the bridge
I turned the corner and peered back to see what would happen, my curiosity getting the best of me. The man who had tried to rob me standing at the other end, but the policeman wasn't there. The man looked as confused as I was. Why had the policeman saved me and then not arrest that guy? It didn't make sense.
Turning back I started home not wanting to to run into the man again. I pondered while I walked. I barely noticed that I had walked into the apartment me and my parents lived in. It didn't even cross my mind to tell my parents what happened in the park. I just walked to my room only thinking of how the policeman had appeared and then disappeared, and I stayed there the rest of the night.
