So I'm liking school now that I'm in. I LOVE my Econ proffesor so far, and I'm still with the same group and prof in Math, so I still like that class, leaving only english, which is looking up now that I'm switching sections. See, we do these big projects and my old section was going to be doing this amazingly boring one for the campus library, but the one I just finished switching to (earlier this afternoon) is doing a project to raise awareness for endangered species and working with a local forest service or something like that. I'm pretty excited about that one, and can't wait until Monday to get some of the finer points down. Also, it'll be nice to switch since there was another Quinn in this last class. It was a guy of course, and I'm fine meeting other Quinns and all, but I don't relish being one of two in a class, that's just too long to be subjected to my own name on another person.

Speaking of being excited for Monday, something else is going on then too. Monday night is marks the start of Rosh Hashana and the High Holy Days. I can't wait, I loved the services last year! Then about a week latter the High Holidays conclude with Yom Kippur. Though I'm also a little nerveous for it now, because I've just been asked to light the candles during the Erev Service. I'm sorta afraid I'll screw it up, because I don't really know how to do it, but Fran reassured me it'll be fine. We all say the prayer together, so no one should be able to hear me mispronouce it lol I think I'm just supposed to go up, light them, wave my hands over them and then in front of my face (sounds weird, but if you saw/ have seen it you'd know what I was talking about) and start the prayer. I'm really good at the first part of it too, so I guess it really will be fine. Still, it's a little scary, because I've never been up in front of all of them before, and I've only been attending there a year now. Plus it's not like I was raised or even converted into Judaism so it's not exactly my element. I'm still so new to it and all.... oh well, I guess everything happens for a reason and I may as well just be happy they think so high of me to offer such a thing, right?
