Looks like the penciler cut out on me on her project, which is really a shame. I'd been hoping to break back in to the realm of writers since I had been excommunicated as such... Meh, I'm willing to still work with artists if they need a writer and brainstormist, because lets be honest, most of them do. Penny Arcade wouldn't be half as funny if they let Mike make up all the jokes...ok, it's probably still be funny to my krewd humor binges, but an artist alone rarely gets the job done. Teamwork is essential for any decent project, because not only is it nice to have someone watch your back, it's also nice to divide the work. ^_^

So, that job fell through, but I've got another one possibly lined up anyway--this time I won't be working for cookies and bits of string! Yes, it's at a Walmart, but this is merely because they'll hire ANYBODY and it is so close by, I don't even need to drive there--any excuse not to pollute is good for me! I'm still waiting on my call back, and I'm starting to worry about my references, because thinking back on it they are kind of dodgy. My sensei I can understand, he would only have the best to say about me unless he's going to be honest about the last six months where I let a few broken bones and viruses get in my way, but I think he'd be a good reference. The other is an old buddy of mine that I helped repair carpets with some time ago. I have no idea if he even remembers when I did that, but I think it should count. So yeah, once they call me I hope to have some real income that doesn't involve hurting people.

While I was there, I bought the Nerf Recon CS-6, and it's pretty spiffy. The magazine system works better than I thought it would, but that may be because I didn't go for the Longshot and this is my first magazine fed Nerf gun. I like that it has a stock, but I hate how flimsy that stock is, so I'm wondering about whether I should mod it. On one hand, I hear all the worst things about its range, but on the other hand, I really don't go for assassin games or nerf wars all that much. However, if I do mod it, I'm definitely going to find a way to replace the plastic bars in the stock with rebarb or something sturdy. And the action needs a bolt for easier reloading, I have no idea why they didn't take that off of the Longshot's design. O.o My big time favorite thing about it is the drop sight; this makes it so much easier to arch your shots more accurately than popping up and hoping for the best. Although, my gripe about it is again with the range, half-way up the peep-sight, I still only hit a target a room away, so it's definitly no Mosin Nagant when I use the drop-sight... :/

The rats seem to keep me company at times, but it just isn't enough, because none of them can really speak English... Oh I'm pretty sure I heard one start speaking French when I was awake and starved for a week and a half, but I'm banking on that just being my imagination...

My body feels so weak right now, which is because I haven't bee able to eat barely anything the past couple weeks. I've just been too ill to get most things close to my lips, and if they make it past that, I either feel the immediate need to vomit, or I'm left the entire night in the fetal position moaning about the pain. I've been through some rather rough times as of late, so I'd imagine that caused some damage to my stomach lining. Well that's just perfect isn't it? I'm just barely able to walk again, and I can't take in the calories to keep from re-injuring myself. I am so starving right now... =_= I feel like I'm losing all of the precious weight I have left, and I can't have that.

*Sigh* It's been so many years since I've had a decent hug... I almost believe that's going to make my stomach stop hurting and let me rest without nightmares. Foolish thinking, right?
