I caved in on that idea, so now we're talking again. I just can't give up one of my friends like that, I lose too many of them to begin with. Having heard all there is to it all, I don't think I'll revert to becoming emotional around her, so I think I'll be fine. It still eats at me about how I feel for her, but I don't think it will be any different down the line than my lady friends I refused to let myself date. I guess you could say I'm happy that she isn't frustrated with me about how difficult I've been, so I just want to do my best to keep this as easy for her as possible and keep my feelings to myself.
That's that I suppose.
I've also been watching a lot of play-throughs of some of my favorite childhood games. Right now I'm onto the imported Final Fantasy 2 play-through done by Youtube user HCBailly. It's good stuff. He's also got other games that he's gone through and commented on as well, so you might want to check them out too. I've been catching things I just didn't remember with my feeble little boy mind, so it's been really fun remembering and watching them.
Also, I'm almost finished with the Vampire Hunter D novel, so I hope I can scrounge enough shrapnel around the house to get the second book before the ninth--because I've got a coupon for 20% off! ^.^ Man, I really hope Borders doesn't go out of business, because I have fond memories inside such bookstores, but their sales just haven't been doing all that great. I really don't want them to go under like Tower Records did a while back (I miss that place too <.< wink . So yeah, I plan on buying and reading as many books as I can, and you should too! Today's youth doesn't read half as much as they should despite what the book craze phenomenon would suggest. I mean, how many children actually read all these books that are becoming movies? I bet their popularity is with the adults in all actuality. Perhaps if we'd have another program such as Reading rainbow targeted at the more troublesome ages for literacy, then maybe there might be more interest in books. Man that show was pretty cool, I always half-expected Patrick Stewart to warp in and yell at Jordie to get back to work. XD
In summation: Books are your friend!

Reluctant Protagonists
We walk on two legs, not on four. To walk on four legs breaks the law. What happens when we break the law? What happens when the rules aren't fair? We all know where we go from there; back to the house of pain...
