Week Eighty: RUMBLE Hey everyone, I've been running Gaia's events all year, and now it's time for my first MAJOR event - and it's gonna be a doozy! Water, Water Everywhere / Now Let's All Have a Fight The big news on Gaia is the new marketplace fee the Summer Festival event announcement made today! http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=31663203 Oohoo, crazy stuff, no? I'm so jazzed about this event you don't even know. You don't even know. I've already put 75+ hours into the event this week alone, working with everyone here to add additional polish, tweak it so it's more fun, improve the balance on the event (no - you don't have to worry about one team being much bigger than another team and losing as a result). I'll probably be here this weekend adding additional polish, and making sure that every concern has been dealt with. It's a beautiful thing, oh em gee. Some fun facts: Each team has their own color set There is a final prize that the winning team gets Bigger teams don't necessarily have an advantage. It will depend much more on how much that team's participants organize and how much each member participates. The event lasts 2 weeks There will be a few new things happening throughout the event - so what you have at the beginning isn't all there is smile Strategy may play an important role in your team winning Hoshiz... I totally forgot I left this open! I'm going home now, but I'll finish this later...

	woohoo yay for putting extremly long hours into work!! i know how you feel fleep xd i've put in over 75+ hours and it's not even the end of my work week yet @.@ I think i';ve getting grey hairs at 20 xd

	Just out of curiosity, towns isn't going to asplode with all the users trying to get on at once? From the way it seems to be going, thats the only problem I can see with the event. Also, which town are you planning on playing as (or at least supporting since you won't have time to play)? I'm having trouble choosing between Aekea and Durem... I think Durem will win, but Aekea is just really cool. PM me and tell me I'm pretty.

	I CANT WAIT i mean it, really, i'm going off for a four year course on how to build time machines so i can skip the two days. + TEAM DUREM FTW i mean, breaking this down, we have one of the best weapons, aekea's robot has the ability to short circuit and gambinos icer might melt, so its really barton VS durem

	YAY! 2 WEEKS! I am so glad! I have a weekend to play! I have National Merit class after school after three days out of the week, so the weekend and the two days of the school week I don't have that class I have 6 days of event fun. XD I was worried it would end when MMVII came out, so I'd only have one day of event. And that would be after school. XD I'm so happy now. And I'm in event colors.

	Ooh, I'm psyched...bounces I wonder what so many Gaians going back to school will mean for the two week duration...but I guess it is fair. People can just participate whenever. And I'm glad team size doesn't guarantee victory. Durem seems staggering at the moment o_o AEKEA FOR VICTORY!
