Schedule Change
I wake up early in the morning
And the sun isn’t even up
Change my clothes put on my makeup
Just on schedule
Head to school its same routine
Nod and reply to what the teachers say
And I walk on with this schedule
Go home and be all alone
Get criticized for what I am
For what I like and do
Take in every punch and every cut
Hold it in the tears till I’m in my room
Squint your eyes grip sorrow
Just hold on almost there
Don’t think of the pain that is there
Another item checked off the list
Take a bath it’s the same gist
Get in bed close those eyes, don’t think, go numb
Tomorrow will be here today
And life will repeat again
When will this damn scheduled change
When will this damn scheduled ever die
Living another day like this and I’ll go mad
I think I already am
