Words
Word in our time never means much
But until you're hit with a word that has a punch
You will never know how deep a single word can go
When we're angry terrible words just seem to flow
But a single nice word can make one feel friendship
That some have never had a chance to courtship
Words that ask how I am or how I feel
Those are words that make this deal
A deal of know someone cares
Even if their world is in tears
So thank you for even the simple word
Because for me they make a brighter world
