America
Chorus:
Freedom
Liberty
Bravery
Unity
This was America. This was us.
But now this war is dividing.
Our people are colliding.
No longer are we united.
On that September day
All hearts promised to not make their deaths in vain.
But six years later the adrenaline has drained.
Some people don’t see the point anymore.
Chorus:
Freedom
Liberty
Bravery
Unity
This was America. This was us.
In the birth of our country over four thousand American’s die.
In World War I over a hundred and sixteen thousand soldiers died.
In World War II over four hundred and five thousand soldiers died.
In Korea over fifty-four thousand soldiers died.
In Iraq three thousand and ninety-nine soldiers died.
So should we dishonor the others,
Just so we can say we tried.
Chorus:
Freedom
Liberty
Bravery
Unity
This was America. This was us.
An now America is in trouble
For we cannot finish what we start
So America cries
Can you hear her?
“Shoulders don’t let me down
Remember who your fighting for”
Chorus:
Freedom
Liberty
Bravery
Unity
This was America. And it can be again.
