He hadnt been planning on doing anything too exciting that day. While heaven could be a considerably chaotic place at times, (especially when they needed to demolish a building) even someone like him needed a day to go get some groceries.
Not that spirits really needed to eat, but heaven food was pretty damn good. There was the whole 'holier-than-thou' after taste, but after a while you got used to it.
He was considering walking home a different route that day, seeing as how the building in front of him had just explodded into chaotic flames. He sighed a little and rubbed his ears in annoyance -- really, the random explosions were such an inconvenience.
Lost in his thoughts and musings, imagine his surprise as his sharp ears caught the sound of cursing -- next thing he knew something proceeded to football tackle him, ending in the two of them sprawled on the ground.
He blinked and rubbed at his head absentmindedly, only then reminded to grin and apologize to whoever had slammed into him.
The apology died on his lips as soon as he heard unfriendly words, though the smile was still on his face and he figured the teasing route was the best way to go. Of course that plan was hastily demolished as his green eyes registered that the scowling spirit in front of him was a new one, with a sour way about him that the friendly boy didn't really like.
"Hah, aren't you the one who ran into me?" He replied back, raising an inquisitive eyebrow. While he had the natural talents of his race, he was still rather slow when it came to regaining them.
"Though I can't blame you, the blasts can be pretty startling for someone's first day. What's your name?" Not one to skip out on being friendly, he offered the other boy a charming grin. The poor guy was probably acting sour because of the blast.
Or at least, that's what he was prone to assume.
