Loose Ends (4)
With every end there is a beginning.
Her mouth is dry, and there is only one particular thought going through her head as she stares at her new surroundings.
What the hell.
( Which is admittedly her thoughts whenever she's in a new place. )
If there was anything she had learned from elementary school, it was that heaven was not a version of what she assumed was Feudal Japan.
( Of course, everyone there had worshipped fairies. )
She sighs and runs a hand through her hair, the hopes of finally being able to get some peace drying up as she hears the first sounds of an explosion.
( Maybe she should have been like everyone else and learned crappy Japanese. ...Nah. )
Then again, she always found peaceful endeavors boring. Wasn't she the one who was always dragging people off on an adventure or another?
( From riding a dream dragon to pie monsters, this kind of stuff should be a piece of cake. Or maybe sushi. )
Despite herself, a nostalgic smile made it's way onto her face as the sound of more explosions hit her (now reversed from their deaf state) sensitive ears.
( Great, now she feels like an old woman. )
Oh well.
With better thoughts in her head she tilts her head up and plasters on the reckless grin she so loves to wear, setting off at a sprint as she runs through the streets.
She's got a best friend to find, after all.
( Promises don't go filling themselves. Especially when they're pinkie promises. )
