Though all the pains and griefs we bare
In this we all may share

In our greifs and sorrows
The sin in our souls we all do share
In the parting of our souls
Take away our sins our griefs in the partings of this life
Take away the weight we bare in each moment of our lives
In our souls the griefs do bare and leave in us a parting
This parting of our souls we bare makes our hearts disheartening
Lord my God take away this parting of my soul
Bring us to this Eden land of promise
that we all may know
All the pain is in the parting
in this parting we find
The salvation of all mankind in Jesus Christ our Lord
Living leading by His feet that light might guide us
Dying He takes away defeat in our sins departing
Raising he brings defeat to this parting
All our hope in Him is brought in His own soul departing
For in His soul departing we find his soul unite
For our souls did He depart and win for us the fight
