God is love but what do you care
To you love is nothing more than a game
And it seems not all games are fair
And this one just leaves in shame
Like a cockroach leaves its disease
Or a tree leaves its leaves
You leave your disease
And this disease is catching on
But not for long
Oh God break those barriers
So she can let me in
Despite those worriers
So she can lose those sins
Lord, I know you can
But I guess I shouldn’t care if you don’t
I mean you know best of all
I don’t think you won’t
And I know you won’t let me fall
This is my last line
Like the last line of a train
It doesn’t stop so fine
My search for her is in vain
And just like that stop
My heart gets caught
And tossed back to standing still
But I know you never stop searching
Even if they stop looking

Growth in God
Basically charting my growth in God
"BUT ALL the optimism of the age had been false and disheartening for this reason, that it had always been trying to prove that we fit in to the world. The Christian optimism is based on the fact that we do NOT fit in to the world." - G.K. Chesterton
