My boyfriend's crazy ex is still pretty crazy. She keeps texting my boyrfriend even though he never texts her back. It's kinda funny; it's like she's just talking to herself. Anywho, the first day of the new semester was her first day at my school. She followed my boyfriend to the cafeteria where I was eating breakfast, and she comes up to me, holds her hand out, and says, "Hi, I'm Amanda." I shake her hand, smile, and say hi. And then she turns around to leave. All of my boyfriend's friends saw her and started shouting, "RUUNNN CLAY, RUN!!" They got everyone's attention, and even I felt embarassed for her. But she was asking for it, the way she's been acting. I hardly ever have to deal with her now. And oh man, the pageant is tomorrow! I'm so nervous! The day before yesterday, rehearsal got cancelled because we got six inches of snow that day. We got more snow yesterday too, but we had dress rehearsal yesterday. They told me my Judges' Tea outfit - which I was planning on wearing for tonight at the actual Judges' Tea - was too form-fitting for the stage and that my hem was coming up. So I had to change it. The hem falls right above my knee, and all we do is walk five steps to center, stand poised, answer a question, smile, and then walk five steps backstage. And I'm wearing black tights, so there's really not much to see. And the hem rides up only an inch or two! There will be no one in the front row! And my speech outfit's skirt was too short too. So today, my mom and I got up early to go the mall 45 minutes away and after some time, I bought a cutesy floral dress, a shrug, and two camisoles from Romy; and a conservative, pencil skirt from JCPenney that I can adjust to above the knee for tonight, and then below the knee for the stage. Romy had a buy one, get one free deal going today which was awesome, and we also got a military discount thanks to my mom's civilian military ID card. JCPenney has this deal where you get $10 off a purchase of $25 or more, and the skirt came out to about $21, so we bought chocolate covered strawberries right next tot he cashier to up the price and ended up paying only $17 for both! It's like we got the strawberries for free and then got discounted on the skirt! Ohhhh, but I saw the cutest navy blue dress in there too.. It was 20% off, simplistic, 3/4 sleeves, buttons up in the back, ends right above the knee.. On the mannequin, they put a cute pale grey scarf around the neck and a thin belt around the waist. But the final price of it, even though it was on sale, was $87. I was so sad; my mom would definitely not pay that. The original price was $109. We would have gotten the $10 off discount on it too... :c I think it would still be considered too short for the stage even though it's just above the knee. It also billows out a bit because of the belt cinching it, which would definitely not work out for the stage. It was soooooo cute though! Maybe if they marked the price down just a tidbit more, my mom would be more willing to purchase it for me... Ah well. I got good bargains today. And I will definitely be re-wearing what I bought quite a bit. They're really cute pieces of clothing. I'm getting so excited for the pageant tomorrow, ah!
Wish me luck!♥
