Soon after that I fell back asleep. I was asleep for nearly an hour and I started dreaming. Well. It wasn't exactly a dream. It was a nightmare. As I thrashed and turned in my sleep I was reliving my nightmare again. I walked through the front door of the house, everything was bloody. I saw my father on the couch, dead, a blade protruding from his chest and a knife in his head. I heard a shrill scream and ran to my sister’s room. Ken was standing there, my mothers head in his hand, and he was shaking it in my face. Then he lifted his other arm to reveal my sister’s head as well. His eyes were pure black, with red pupils, while his hair was bleach white, silver actually. Everything was ablaze, and my house was falling apart. My skin turned tough as diamonds, my hair turned into fire, and my teeth grew sharp, as did my fingernails. Spikes emerged from my back, and shins, and one on each elbow.
I woke up in a cold sweat, panting, hoping that all I saw was a dream. I shot up out of my bed, Ken still laying on the floor, opposite to me, and ran out of my room. I slowly pushed open my parent’s room, and to my relief they were alive and sound asleep. ‘Good…’ I thought to myself as I walked slowly to my sister’s room. I opened the door and looked in, but she was not there. “Alexis?” I called into the dark room, and saw a figure shift in the far corner. I walked into the room and towards the figure, “Alexis? What’s wrong?” I asked as I reached her, I put my hand on her shoulder, trying to calm her. She was crying, and turned to me and grabbed me tight. Her black hair was matted over her face, and her fuchsia eyes were filled to the brim with tears.
“Jamie…” She sobbed, “I just had a horrible nightmare...” I gently rubbed her back, reassuring her it was just a dream, but when she described it I was in shock. It was the same dream I had just awoke from.
((I'll add more eventually...))
