Done in the style of Federico Garcis Lorca's Lament for Ignacio Sanchez Mejias, first section
And all the pie is gone
Lonely pie tin sits empty.
A boy brought the white sheet
and all the pie is gone.
The children wail in despair
and all the pie is gone.
Maids cower in fear of the master
and all the pie is gone.
The street darkens in response
and all the pie is gone.
An ominous air hangs over all
and all the pie is gone.
A strong wind whips boughs
and all the pie is gone.
A dog flys down the street
and all the pie is gone.
Monkeys flee with their typewriters
and all the pie is gone.
Lonely pie tin sits empty
and all the pie is gone.
((Please keep in mind that this is something jesting and random that I did in class. It is in no way supposed to be serious and should not be taken as such.))
