I feel pretty pissed off right now. A lot of people that are known by someone are dying nowadays. What the hell is going on? But what makes it more troubling for me is the amount of ludacrisy that's amongst all of the big stories. Death in '09 is a big thing, and I am feeling the cold-numbing aspirations of death flowing through my veins. My heart aches from the mess, and it lingers on as the anxiety persists.
What really troubles me though is the story of Neda Soltani. She was shot and killed by a revolutionary officer on a public street in Iran. Her video is on youtube, and it is also on my profile, and yet no where on television will anyone see the news of it. Her death is a very heartfelt revolutionary icon in Iran, and what are our television stations doing about it? Nothing. Goddamnit, a good man who's changed the music industry died a couple days ago and his story will live in us forever. A lady from an oppressive country that died for her freedom with live footage posted on a popular site; she cannot even get a public notice from our television stations because they're in bed with our ******** politicians. It pisses me off so much with all of this isolationist ideology that we cannot even give moral support without our president being weary of what someone would think of us if we do make such a bold statement towards a dictator.
Obama is a goddamn coward. Stand up to those North Korean whackos. Board those ships because their tests and threats are clearly an act of war. Don't let them fire that missile close to Hawaii because the reason why they want to test their missiles is so they can use them on us. ********, if we give our enemies equality, they're just going to use it to their advantages. We do not need another Pearl Harbor, nor do we need another 911. We don't need another attack on our soil, and we do not need to die first in order to have a plausible reason to go to war with an insane dictator.
And for the sake of the sovereignty of Iran, don't listen to that fake politician who calls himself a leader. He's a bully, a thug. He's a liar who says it was a fair ballot even though there were more votes than there were registered voters. Don't be a coward Mr. Obama. Don't bow down to people that want to walk all over us.
That's what I want to say to the president if I had the opportunity to. I want to recognize those who have died for their rights to live for the sake of freedom. There is a revolution going on in Iran, and our government and our mainstream media wants to play it off as though its just an anarchy group causing trouble because their candidate lost. These people want to be heard, and they haven't been given much support from our country even though we are suppoes to be the leaders of the free world. We the people fought for this kind of freedom in the past back when the Iron Curtain was prevalent in the Asias.
Neda, I heard about you today from my father, and I didn't know who you were before then. I know now how your life was taken by thugs. I know how you are a revolutionary icon to the people of Iran even though you did not choose to be. But you are regardless because those thugs made a mistake in murdering you. You will be remember by the people that choose to listen to the story that is unfolding for the people of Iran. A tear will be felt in our eyes as we watch the sad fate of your passing, but beneath those tears our anger towards oppression will never be cleared until the fogs are unveiled, and the thugs are all diminished, dismantled, and powerless. Until fate has it that we are all free to choose to live in the ways that we are able to without having to murder another person, then that anger will be released and we will know that the people who died for freedom can rest in peace.
