It was a few weeks after the twins were born and Yuki was on maternity leave. The fangirls were starting to get worried. They managed to sneak over to the Sohma house and were inching towards the window. They saw the Yuki's back. He was in a white robe and his hair was a mess from just waking up. What they didn't see was Uo-chan fighting to keep from bursting into laughter. She held a string in her hand and waited until the fangirls got close enough. Eventually, she tugged on the string and in front of the fangirls, a homemade cardboard cutout of some physcotic person unknown to them popped up from the bushes.
The fangirls ran away, screaming at the top of their lungs. Uo-chan could hardly breathe from laughing so hard. Yuki merely shook his head and shushed her, "You'll wake the twins." One twin, that he named Daisuke, was still asleep in his crib. The other, Ken, was in his father's arms. At the moment, Yuki was breastfeeding Ken. Uo-chan placed a hand over her mouth to try and stop laughing. "S-sorry," she gasped. "But that was fu- I mean, absolutely hilarious." Uo-chan managed to catch herself before she cursed in front of the newborns.
"Careful, Arisa." Hana-chan warned her. She picked up Daisuke, who woke upon her touch. "They're so cute!" she cooed. "Congratulations!" Yuki smiled, "Thank you." "You're probably not gonna do that again, are ya?" Uo-chan joked, joining Hana-chan. Yuki glanced down at his stomach, which became flat once again. "You never know..." Yuki smiled. "Maybe." Knowing Daisuke was in good hands for now, Yuki walked into the living room, where Kyo lazily watched the news. "Hi, Uncle Kyo." Yuki giggled.
Kyo glanced up and smiled as Yuki joined him. He placed his hand over Yuki's shoulder and lightly held Ken's tiny hand. "Say, how do you think you were able to get pregnant?" Kyo asked, remembering that biologically, it wouldn't be possible. Yuki shrugged. "Maybe it had something to do with the curse." Kyo's eyes widened. "S-So...That could've easily been me!!??" Yuki couldn't stop Kyo from ranting panicedly.
"Kyo, calm down." Yuki sighed. "You'll wake the baby." Kyo took a few calming breaths. "Ok, I'm calm." Kyo sighed. "Think we should call Naoko?" Yuki nodded and pulled out his cell phone. After a few minutes of getting past the guard on the other end, Naoko responded, "Hello?" "Hi Naoko." Yuki said. "Yuki, hi!" Naoko giggled. "How're the twins doing?" Yuki giggled and said, "Born." He heard a crashing sound on the other end. "WHA!!??" Naoko screeched. "Oh my god, I'm sorry I wasn't there! Please forgive me!" "I forgive you!" Yuki said to calm her down. "The twins are fine. We'll come to visit you every week until you're released." "Th-thank you." Naoko said, her voice cracking from tears of joy.
That night, Yuki tucked the twins in, giving them each a goodnight kiss on the forehead. "Good night, boys." he said, turning on the nightlight for them. He returned to his room and paused, kneeling next to his bed. He thought of everything that happened during his pregnancy. Eventually, he found himself praying. Years later, he would've raised the twins well and grown old with Naoko. In many ways, he was thankful to be pregnant. He cryed with joy and thanked God for the miracles he was proud to call his sons.
