Chapter 9: OH SH**!!!!!!!
Yuki joined the student council table and listened intently to the others. "Now, as we all now, the School Carnival is in a few weeks away." Machi said to the entire council. Yuki's head fell to the table. "...Except for Sohma-kun, apparantly." Machi giggled. The others laughed just a little. "Well, we have an outline for you, Sohma-kun." Machi smiled, gesturing to the board. She explained the outline for a few seconds. While she did so, Yuki inhaled as quietly as he could. The babies really wanted something, didn't they? "Well, that's a good idea, Machi." he said, standing up. "But, here's a better idea."
Yuki walked up to the board and made a few changes. But as soon as he drew a line, he stopped. The kicks the twins have been giving him had gotten worse...so bad, in fact, that he was doubting they were just kicks. But suddenly, a harsh cramp jolted within them. His grip loosened on the piece of chalk, letting it fall to the floor. He took shaky breaths and remained standing up there, causing concern in the other student council members. He whimpered as another jolt got him and slumped to his knees. "Sohma!" somebody shouted as the other council members gathered around him, trying to help him up.
"I-I'm ok." Yuki whimpered. "I-I...I just need some air." Yuki stood up, composing himself. "Well, this has been a very productive meeting. If anyone else has any other ideas, you can give them to me when I come back." Yuki staggered outside and sat against the wall, gripping his stomach tightly, whimpering in pain. "Aaah!" Yuki groaned. He took a few more shaky breaths and thought to himself, 'Please, please be a false alarm. I can't go into labor now!' He decided to stagger towards the classroom he just left.
With every step, he whimpered and groaned in pain. He wasn't ready for this yet. It was way to early. He begged for this to be a false alarm. Another jolt forced Yuki onto his knees. Taking shaky breaths, his eyes widened when he felt warm water trickle down his legs. 'Oh sweet Jesus...' he thought, '...my water just broke.' Not a false alarm. He doubled over and couldn't help but scream at another contraction. 'No, please, not now!' Yuki begged the twins. 'I can't give birth now!'
"Ok, ok." Yuki whispered to himself. "No need to panic, Yuki. You're just in labor, that's all." he pulled himself onto his feet. He had to take this to Hatori, but he couldn't just walk there on his own. Now, they're were only two people he knew of in this school that could help him. (Not Uo-chan or Hana-chan, just because of the whole 'curse' ordeal.)
"Kyo, Tohru." Yuki whimpered, staggering towards the classroom. Kyo and Tohru were currently in the same study group as Uo-chan and Hana-chan. They chatted quietly amongst themselves until they heard the door creak open. "Well, Sohma-kun!" the teacher smiled. "You're back early. Come on in, you can join your friends." "A-actually, I just need to see a couple of people." Yuki said weakly. "Ok, call 'em out." the teacher said. "K-Kyo Sohma a-and Tohru H-Honda." Yuki whimpered. "Go on, you two." the teacher waved them out. As Kyo and Tohru disappeared, the Yuki fangirls worried about him. "Is he ok?" "He sounds like he's in pain." "What do you think happened?"
"Yuki?" Kyo called out. Yuki slumped to the floor, his breathing quickened. "Yuki!" Tohru gasped. "Are you ok?" Yuki shook his head. "What happened?" Tohru said concernedly. Yuki moaned in agony and said, "M-my water broke...I-It's time." Kyo caught himself before he fainted. "WHAT!!??" he screeched, being shushed by Tohru. "What're we going to do?" she whimpered. Kyo pulled out his cell phone and dialed Shigure's number. "I'm on it." he said.

Meanwhile, Shigure was working on his novel when his phone went off. He ignored it until the answering machine picked up. He continued to type while the machine message played: "Hello! You've reached the Shigure-" "Sohma, moron!" "Sorry, that was a mistake. The Sohma house! I'm Shigure..." "I'm Kyo..." "I'm Tohru..." "And I'm Yuki." "We're not here right now, please leave a message after the beep......BEEEEP!!!!! Sorry, I couldn't resist!" "Oh, you freakin i-" Kyo's rant was interrupted by the machine tone. Then, Kyo's voice could be heard on the other line, "Shigure! Shigure, pick up! C'mon man, this is important!"
Shigure grabbed the receiver and placed it to his ear. "Sohma Shigure.....Mmm-hmm...Hi, Kyo...Yeah?.....Why do you ask?.....9.......9...." Shigure stopped typing and his eyes widened, "WHAT!!??......Ok, ok, tell Yuki to be calm and I'll be there as soon as I can." Shigure slammed down the reciever, grabbed his coat and raced out the door, shouting to the world, "I'M GOING TO BE AN UNCLE!!!!!!!!!!"

Yay!!!!!!!! Yuki's gonna be a daddy!!!!!! blaugh But not in the way he originally imagined. Poor, poor Yuki. gonk Anyway, the twins are coming. PUSH, YUKI, PUSH!!!!!!!!!!!! gonk gonk gonk gonk
