Well, June the 15th has come and gone, and my suicidal friend is still around smile I think she's doing pretty well right now. She's making some major effort to quit cutting, and has been largely successful. She's finding new ways of dealing with her emotions (and life in general), and she hasn't even mentioned suicide in weeks!

I'm so happy and so proud!

I'm also proud to announce that I have a nephew! It's my first, and I can hardly wait to watch him grow up! I really want to go over and meet the little guy, and will hopefully have a chance to do so this summer. My Dad agreed that we needed to make a trip over to see the happy family, so I s'pose all I need to do is start talking to him seriously about dates.

For now I'm pretty busy just getting into the swing of summer and looking for work and all, so I don't think I'll push it just yet, buy sometime before July I'll give it a shot.

The kiki is doing much better now. She's eating solid foods on her own frequently and drinking lots of water. I'm hoping that she'll recover completely by the end of this week or start of next.

Last night we introduced her one at a time to the other two cats and both dogs. They're all getting along pretty well at this point. The cats are still hesitant to get too close and sometimes hiss or spit at her, and the dogs are a little over excited about her and tend to get in her face waaaay too often, but we're working on that one today.

Right now they're doing really well, because everyone is napping peace fully without bothering anyone else ^^
