so the new kitty (or kiki, as i say) is having trouble adjusting to solid food. i made her up some temporary formula from a recipe i found on a kitten rescue site, but now i need to run to the feed store for the real deal.

she seems to like my homemade version pretty well, so i hold out hope that her small appetite is just due to having been wein a little too early.

we're still working on a name, but casey really like rory, and i think it's pretty cute too. i've gotten used to just referring to her as kiki or the kiki, so it'll take a little adjusting :p but otherwise i think it suits her. i guess i'm not 100% on it though, because i keep holding out for a new idea. well we'll see.

i need to get off gaia now and get ready to go, because my bus leaves in about half an hour. she's so comfy sleeping on my lap though, so i hate to disturb her. at least she's sleepy though, i was hoping she'd nap while i was gone. she gets really lonely in here by herself, and the other cats are too big and too pissy to let in with her.

they always get this way though, they're just jealous by nature i guess. but they'll just have to get used to her, because rory/kiki/whatever is here to stay ^^
