"Oh God, what are they drinking." Chikaru asked as she peeked through the brush.
"I believe that is the sewer water. Trolls drink sewer water from both sides. The piping that you see is designed to go into each sewer line and draw the water and mix it together to make their drinks." Kitko said.
"That's disgusting." Sandina said gaging on the thought.
"Yeah, but we're going to have to go right by it to get to the rock wall path up to the human city. Let's hurry. I don't think my senses can take this much longer." Chikaru said. Sandina led the way through the brush and they froze when they heard some branches snap. "Tell me that wasn't us."
"No. That wasn't us. That was the trolls behind us." Sandina said grabbing her knives. "Ugh!" Sandina dropped her knives and covered her nose. "Oh God. I can't breathe. That burnt the inside of my nose. Ugh."
"Humans." one troll gurgled.
"Not just any humans. Human girls. Their flesh is sweet and tender." another bleched.
"Kitko, get behind us. We got these jerks." Chikaru said grabbing her sword.
"Sandina, Chikaru.... what are you going to do?"
"Chikaru, you want to do our twin tactics?"
"Sure Sandina, twin tactics sounds perfect." Chikaru said sheathing her sword and grabbing her spit fire. Sandina grabbed ten knifes in her hands and threw them at the trolls. Chikaru blew her spit fire around the knives and they cut through anything in their path. "That'll get them for sure."
The flaming knives bounced off the troll's stomaches. "No way! How did that happen?" Sandy coughed.
"Their outter skin is harder than steel. They can deflect knives and swords." Kitko said.
"Crap. If their outsides are hard. I bet thier insides aren't." Sandina thought. She tumbled around the trolls picking up her knives.
"Sandina? What are you doing?" Chikaru asked.
"Chikaru, use your spit fire! Get them to open their mouthes!" Sandina shouted as she jumped into a tree. Chikaru nodded and gulped down the last of her spit fire and blew it out as hard as she could. The fire scared the trolls and they screamed loudly. Sandina jumped down in front of them and plunged her knives through theird mouthes and into their skulls.
The trolls fell to the ground in a bloody mess. "Wow... that was amazing." Kitko said.
"That was disgusting." Sandina said wiping off the blood and drool from her hands. "Gross."
"Too bad you can't brun those gloves." Chikaru chuckled.
"Laugh it up Chikaru. Laugh it up." Sandina said shoving her hands into the river. "I'm never going to get the feeling of their drool and blood off my fingers."
"Well, with everything going on we scared the rest of the trolls away from the path. We shouldn't have anymoe trouble from here." Kitko said pointing to the path.
"Great. Let's go home." Chikaru said.
"I don't think it's going to be that easy!" Kitko shouted. Nukaya, Candy and Keto were flying right towards them. "Run!" The girls started to race up the zig-zag path.
"This is bad. How are we suppose to outrun them? They can fly!" Chikaru said.
"I got a plan. I want you two to run like heck to the cliff and get behind the barrier. I'm going to be the bait and have them try to catch me. Just trust me." Sandina said.
"It doesn't got to be that way Sandina." Kitko said.
"Why not?" Sandina asked.
"Because. I got this!" Kitko took out her sling shot and a light bomb. "Eat this losers!" Kitko shot the light bomb and it exploded right in front of Candy, Nukaya and Keto. The three vampires fell down to the brush below. "Long way down."
"Nice shot Kitko." Chikaru said looking down.
"That had to hurt." Sandina said. Chikaru and Kitko reached the end of the path and waited for Sandian to catch up. Sandina raced up and waved to them.
"Hurry up Sandina! We got to go home!" Chikaru shouted.
"I'm coming!" Sandina shouted back. Candy flew up and grabbed ahold of Sandina's ankle.
"You're not going anywhere my sweet." Candy said digging her claws into Sandina's right ankle.
"Let go!" Sandina looked down at Candy and she could see Candy's face and arm's skin regenerating. "Kitko! SHOOT AGAIN!" Ktiko grabbed her slingshot, but Nukaya came up and kicked it out of her hand.
"They're alive? How?!" Kitko asked.
"The sun is blocked by a storm cloud. It figures. I hate Murphy's law!" Chikaru said.
"Get your filthy vamp hand off me!" Sandina said.
"You're coming down with us." Keto came up behind Sandina and pushed her off the path. Keto gabbed her right arm and Candy grabbed her left arm.
"LET GO!" Kitko shouted.
"Sandina! HOLD ON!" Chikaru said grabbing her sword.
"Don't worry about me Chikaru! Get Kitko home! Tell the head master! I'll execute plan delta! JUST GET OUT OF HERE!" Nukaya, Keto and Candy disappeared with Sandina into the distance.
"Plan delta?" Kitko asked grabbing her slingshot.
"Its a stupid idea. But Sandina leaves a trail of her marks. She leaves a lightning bolt on a tree or rock. She'll make sure we find them." Chikaru said. "Let's get to the head master now. We need to get resupplied and get some help. No doubt these guys have far worse planned for Sandina now that she tried to escape."
