Mood: whee (excited)
HOORAY! It's my birthday tomorrow; I'm finally turning 17! (I'm, like, the youngest of my fellow seniors; I only know of three other people in my graduating class that are younger than me) Plus, my guy friend, who is also just about my main annoyance and the bane of my existence, turned 17 about a month and a half ago, and he always lords it over me that he's that much older than me, and it PISSES ME OFF!!!!! scream But, finally, we'll be the same age, and I'm still the first one to graduate! He had complications between starting school at the end of the year and being home-schooled, so he's just going into his sophomore year... HA! xd Plus, his parents won't let him even get his learners permit (or, therefor, drivers license) until he's 18! I'm already done with drivers ed, and I'm just waiting for a chance to take my driving test! ... Ok, this is not what I meant to talk about... *deep breath* Ok, if you don't know this already, I've currently got tons of pets, which include: ~four 2-month-old kittens ~two adult cats ~two dogs (one mixed-breed, one poodle) ~two parrots (one African Gray, one Blue-Headed Pionus... I don't know how I remembered that...) ~two lovebirds (yes, that is what they are actually called... they look like mini-parrots) ~one canary
I know it's a long list... and that's just the pets my family has now... We used to have Great Danes... Now those are huge dogs, and if you've ever seen one, you'll know what I'm talking about. Anyway, the kittens are SOOOOO cute right now! But it's really sad, because we have to try and find new homes for two of them! I actually hope we don't find homes for them, so they get to stay here. But I'm moving out after next year anyway, so if I can't take my kitty with me, I'll almost never see her! crying And yes, I've picked out my kitten from the bunch; most of the kittens are black-and-white, but the on I've picked out is the only tabby. (she must look like her dad... but I have no clue...) I even named her Bast, you know, after the Egyptian cat goddess. The other kitten we're keeping has been claimed by my brother; its face is completely black, except for the white chin. Robby (my little brother) decided to name him Jack, after "captain Jack Sparrow" from "Pirates of the Caribbean" pirate ... How do I get off-topic so easily??? Hmmm, I'll have to figure that out sometime... On another topic (hmm, maybe that's how! lol), I get to go on a Senior Camping Trip this weekend with my church group! And, luckily for me, it's to my favorite State Park! I get to spend three days outdoors, getting lots of exercise, and spending time with almost complete strangers, and I couldn't be more excited! (except for the "complete strangers" part...) I've never gotten to camp at this park, but I love going there and rock-climbing with my dad and my brother! I'm actually probably going to end up there the day after tomorrow too, because we usually go for my brother's and my birthdays. (mine is the 7th, his is the 8th, and we're separated by two years... pretty weird, huh?) Well, whether I get to go on the 8th or not, I can't wait for this weekend! Oh, wow, it's getting late; I guess I better sign off and get some sleep. Big day tomorrow! xd See you later!
