Eon sat on a large rock next to the lake. The warm air snapped at Eon's pale face. The lake's mist calmed as morning came to day. Eon sat up, his blue eyes scanning the lake. He pushed his brown hair from his face.
"..." Eon had no friends or family. In fact, he was on the top ten bounty list in the kingdom! Eon snapped his fingers, a blue flame of aura floated above Eon's left hand. He sighed as the aura dissapeared. Eon blinked, feeling a large amount of somneone's aura behind him. He jumped of the rock, staring into the dense forest. "......" Eon paused, then suddenly a large gray dog-like demon with red thorns emitting from it's back jumped at Eon. Eon frowned, dashing to the side, avoiding the demon's long claws.
The monster crashed to the ground, whinning. It shook it's head, and glared at Eon and circled around him. "GRRRRR...." The monster's aura was unsteady, as if it was unable to control itself.
"....." Eon smiled, glad he could get a chance to fight in such a while. Eon snapped his left hand, a long blue blade of aura cracked into Eon's palm. He put himself in a stance, taunting the foe.
"Grrr...." The demon paused, the suddenly shivered and the thorns on its back retracted, and dissapeared. The monster suddenly shiftshapped into a young boy with blue azure hair and small gray wings where his ears should have been and weared a gray tank top and blue skinny jeans, making him look quite femonine. The boy stared at Eon, and smiled. "Sorry, I thought you were a threat." He turned back to the forest. "Dark, it's okay. This guy isn't trouble."
Eon blinked, then straightened up, looking back to the boy and following his glance up to the forest. From the forest a woman came out, mabye around 17. She had blonde long hair and wore a black bandana which concealled two fox ears. She had a black tanktop with a white chibi skull on it. Her pants were tight and black. Eon saw that she was wearing no shoes. "?? Who are you?" Eon snapped his hand, the blade dissapearing.
The woman smilled. "I'm Dark Soul, although I much prefer Dark. This is Mimim, the demon you just incountered. I know, hard to tell." She smiled, walking up to Mimim and patting his head.
Eon sighed. Dark is a wierd name to have...Eon thought to himself. "Look, I'll be going... Nice seeing you two." Eon turned around, but before he could lift his foot, Dark grabbed his shoulder, spinning him around.
"Look, I know who you are and I've come to warn you. There's some guards not far from here looking for you, Eon," Dark whispered, "We have a cabin, you can hide there till they leave." Dark smiled, letting go of Eon's shoulder. "Do you trust me?"
Eon blinked, staring back at Dark. "If I must."
