EON::
Thorn whimpered, going into a slump and his head hung down. "..." He started praying. Please don't forget me, Eon...
Eon fell onto the floor, and coughed a little. He had an odd taste in his mouth. He stood up and tried to look around. "S-Sabutan? Hannah?" He turned around and nearly bumped into the woman who entered behind him. He realised it was Hannah, but he couldn't see her face. He snapped his fingers and a small blue flame lit up the air around him hand her. He blinked, trying to adjust his eyes to the newly lit light in the dark room.
DARK SOUL::
Hannah neatly slid away from him, staring around the room. "Oh dear. I hope your little girl didn't run off. I told her to stay here." She laughed haughtily. "Oh yes, I forgot. She's just... You might want to prepare yourself for this." She raised an eyebrow at Eon, grinning and gesturing forward.
Sabutan heard faint voices as a light shone a few yards away. He followed silently, a smile playing on his lips.
Hannah stopped before gesturing toward a large lump on the ground. The purple aura floated around the bulge, it's tail flicking.
The aura lowered to the lump, lighting the shape up. Dark's face was visible, her eyes wide and empty.
EON::
Eon gasped, running up to what seemed to be Dark. "Dark?!" He glared at Hannah. "W-WHAT IS THIS? What's wrong with her??" He looked at Sabutan for support. He was confused... What what was going on?
DARK SOUL::
Hannah stood, arms crossed. "She's dead.. well, soulless. Her body is empty." She now sat, crouched, next to her sister, stroking the girl's blond hair. Hannah was now in her original form. Her eyes glowed red, purple hair sweeping the floor when she walked. Though her clothes matched her sister's, they seemed nothing alike - Hannah giving off an evil aura.
Sabutan stood, the smile quickly disappearing. "I don't.. I don't know." he replied, now standing next to Eon. He could feel tears sting his eyes, but tried to hold them back. "She always laughed when I cried." He chuckled bitterly, then bit his lip and looked at Eon. "I'm sorry.. She'll be fine, you know?" He forced a smile - something he'd never really done before. He'd never needed to.
Hannah stared at them quietly, surveying them as she sat next to her lifeless sister. Hm. They really do care, I guess. She thought, the reply coming quickly: Of course! The voice hissed. They're kind people! Now just let them go, Hannah.
Hannah let out a menacing laugh. "Oh, baby sister. You're hilarious..." She played with the girl's hair, smiling. "To get out of here alive, you two will need to... pass some tests.." She purred, her red eyes flickering past them both.
EON::
Eon looked at Sabutan. "I-I'm sorry Sabutan." He didn't know what he was sorry for, but he sure felt like it. He looked at Hannah. "What do you want us to do?" He pulled up his gloves a little and flexed his fingers. "Anything, and I'll do it." His aura swept up his arms. It didn't feel so harsh as earlier. The blue smoke seemed to make the air around him even colder and he shivered a little.
DARK SOUL::
Sabutan didn't answer.
Hannah smiled at the stillness between the two men and stood. "You must.. " She paused - thinking. Maybe.. I should have a little fun first. Resisting the urge to smile, she fought to scowl at them, her red eyes grave as she looked over them both. "You must fight. Fight for the soul of the girl. "
EON::
Eon's brow wrinkled. He glanced at Sabutan. "Fight him?" He swallowed and realised his throat was begining to become soar, like when it did when he didn't know what to do. "I don't know if I can..."
He belongs with her... I'm just in the way. He looked at Dark's pale face. "Sabutan..." He looked at him again. "Are you going to protect her? Will you take care if her when-if I lose..?"
DARK SOUL::
Sabutan stared at Dark as Eon spoke, his words caught in his throat. I don't know. His mind was spinning. Of course he'd have no problem defeating Eon - but he would think about it every time he looked at Dark. His breathing came out in short puffs, cutting off after he inhaled each time. He could feel his heart beating faster. Sabutan still didn't have an answer as he looked up at Eon., slowly getting into a fighting stance.
Hannah groaned, able to hear both mens' quickened heart beats. This might work... Or not.. She thought, easily able to see the reluctance in Sabutan's stance. She now watched Eon, multiple emotions flashing across her face before ending with a blank expression.
