I felt a bit down the other day and ended up writing this poem.
Sorry if it sounds depressing.
Take My Hand

Take my hand and hold me close.
I’m lost in darkness.
Treasure me but never boast,
For I might disappear into unknowingness.
My heart calls for one,
And one only.
My life is coming undone.
I shall soon be lonely,
Unless you take my hand and hold me close
To show me the meaning of true love.
I fear it all but love I fear the most.
Show me in a caress as soft as the wings of a dove
What I’ve missed in this world.
I’ve missed you and others; I’ve been so alone.
I’ve been blind in the cold,
So take my hand, and show me home.
