I lost one of the greatest dogs today, 9/18/09.
His name was Buddy (Budweiser) Cain. He was a German Shepard, Beagle mix and one of the cutest dogs to exist on this planet. He loved everyone and everyone loved him.
There was just something about him that people liked. I think it was his eyes. They were the biggest, cutest brown eyes that I have ever seen and I highly doubt that I shall see those kind of eyes again. He was fourteen years old, an awesome number, age wise, for a dog of his breed.
He is gone now… He had a sort of seizure today and become non-responsive to almost everything but a belly rub. It broke my heart because he couldn’t hold his bladder and he just looked so broken… But… there was nothing we could have really done for him.
We took him to the emergency vet to learn that he was bleeding out into his stomach and that he might have a malicious tumor in his stomach or in his spleen. He was suffering… and that is why we, me and my step-mom Steph, thought it was better if we just… let him go.
He is in a better place now… and all who knew him and enjoyed him will miss him dearly. I wish I could have shared him with you, but… you will just have to go by my word on how awesome he was.
