Last Saturday Ryan and I went down to Bar Harbor. While we were sitting on a rock watching the ocean waves Ryan gave me the most beautiful ring I had ever seen. It was a large sapphire ring with a diamond on each side with a white gold band. It's everything I've ever wanted in a ring. He looked and me and said, "Will you marry me?" My heart skipped a few beats and I (of course) said yes. heart
We already have a few thousand saved towards the wedding. Mostly extra money we just had floating around. We haven't set the exact date yet but we know it'll be in September 2011.
Currently Mom and I have started planning. We're moving pretty fast so far. Thankfully between Ryan and I we know enough people the we get to save quite a bit of money. Cait is a professional photographer, Jared's got the place set, and so on.
I've loved him since I was 7 and went to Elementary School with him. I couldn't imagine spending my life with anyone but him. I feel safe when I'm with him and I know he would never hurt me or try to cheat on me. He's loving, dedicated, and takes care of me.
I can't wait to be Mrs. Emilie Madden. My initials even spell out my nickname! Life is amazing 3nodding
