So, yeah. I have a while before I have to go to work so I figured I'd update this journal for once.
I've got 2 countdowns going at once. 17 days til my birthday on May 20. ^_^ I'll be 23. Yeah, that's not a very important one. 25 is the next big one. But, I don't want to think about being a quarter of a century just yet. I feel old enough with my sister and 2 cousins graduating this year from high school.
If all goes as planned, I'll have some friends over on the 18th. I invited like 30 people but so far I've received 2 definite yes replies, 2 people said no, and a few maybes. Also, I hope the weather is nice, too, because I want to light the firepit outside. Maybe I shouldn't have invited so many people because, if it does rain, how will I cram everyone in my house? Perhaps I should have thought things through a little better. Oops. Too late now. Let's just pray for a clear night.
In 22 days, Frank and I are going camping with some of our friends from Kent. I went 2 years ago and had a ball. It did rain on and off but we still had fun. I just have to buy a few things before the trip, like a tent for one. I ruined the family one 2 years ago because I never dried it out. So it's probably very gross. I saw one on the WalMart web site that looked like it could work. It's 9x8 and says it sleeps 3-4 people. Well, it'll only be me and Frank so that'll work. Me, him, and some of our stuff in the corner. Works out, right? But, I have to get some more money in the bank so Frank and I can just get everything we need at once. We should probably plan a shopping day the Tuesday before we leave. (Tuesday is my definite day off from work) I know he doesn't have much money so I may end up covering a majority of it but it'll even out. He can buy me dinner for a month when he gets a summer job or something. 4laugh
I have to finalize my list of what we need to pack. Some stuff I have from when I would camp with my family. Like a little propane stove and air mattresses. I have a bin we can use for some stuff. I'm just keeping my scrapbooks in it for the time being. And, he has lots of room in his car. Not that we really need all that much stuff. It's just the two of us. Yeah, we'll be camping with like 20 other people but we bring our own food and supplies.
Well, clock's ticking so I guess I should get ready for work. neutral cry stare
