Ignore this if you aren't a roleplayer.
If you are, I am offering you my hand of friendship. Old enemies and new friends alike, I offer you the chance to join my new organization:
The Fellpowers.
I got the idea a long while ago- after I had made the oath not to fight again until the rules were even or fairness had come back to gaia. However a man challenged me to a duel and I decided to make a point. I explained to him that his character was too powerful for my liking, and that the match would be drastically uneven. I proposed that we fight with a person of slightly above average human strength, and only one power, one with equal or less raw kinetic power then a fireball. That meant no fiery infernos, no matter manipulations, cellular control or any of that whoo-hah.
The battle began, and for the fun of the combat, I opted for us not to tell each other the powers beforehand. I personally chose for my young male combatant to be able to spray flammable, sticky liquid from his hands. It was absolutely harmless (Albeit a bit adhesive) unless lit aflame. My opponent chose to be able to walk through walls.
Needless to say, I won.
After patting myself on the back, I realized exactly how much fun the fight had been. I felt an immense sense of pride because I knew that my victory had been achieved by carefull planning and strategy, rather then the abuse of an undefeatable power. I had only one trump card, and I had used it perfectly. And what a joy it gave me!
So, now I offer that same enjoyment to you, fellow friends. I offer for you to join my league, limit yourself to ONE power no more potent then a fireball, and remember the thrill of thinking your way to victory once more. With this idea and a few new others I am thinking of implementing, we can change gaia back to the beautiful haven for combat it once was, and make roleplay fighting FUN again.
PM me if you're interested, your participation will determine how far this idea goes. And Don't be afraid to spread the word.
