The Silver Raven is a prodigy of existence. A young god, he is often called the Silver Man, the Pearl Avenger, or the Champion. He was formed by the holy ascension of Vansin's eternal soul after he was murdered (The first time) nearly thirty years ago. Since the day of his death the released soul incubated in the miasma of existence until it reappeared as an entirely separate entity ten years ago.
The Silver Man is classified as Neutral Good, and is part of the ever increasing Lesser tier of gods. His portfolio includes Honesty, Good, Swordsmanship, and Patience. His powers include many abilities related to his portfolio, and he is instantly aware of anyone who is dishonest, evil, or uses a sword withing a fifteen mile radius.
As a walking god, or a god that has no personal domain in the heavens, the Pearl Avenger often rests in human form. As a man he looks to be about twenty-five to thirty years of age, incredibly beautiful, and serious in word and deed. His body is wrapped in armor that is ingrained with feathered patterns, from which his title, The Silver Raven, is derived. It has been best described by the historian Neador:
"The Silver Godling walks with a confident step, and his face is fair to behold. His armor Ravenmantle, fits him as though he had taken the wings of a bird from his back, and wrapped them around himself. His sword, Feather's Fall, slices the air like a column of silver light from his palm. He speaks with the conviction of a thousand soldiers, and moves with purpose of...well...of a god."
While he has only been a god for a decade, The Silver Raven has watched the world intently, and become accustomed to it's rituals and day to day activities. More then anything, he is saddened by the lack of respect, dignity, and originality within the existing creatures of Gaia. He shuns repetition and constantly asks his followers to seek new adventure, start new ideas, and accept people diffrent then themselves. He believes that gaia is dying of suffocation, and sees it as his duty to, at worst, make life interesting for everyone. This belief often leads him to do things that other gods look down upon, like idly conversing with mortals for the sole purpose of inspiring them to do great deeds. While this might not seem very controversial, many gods believe that personally interfering in the mortal world is not what gods are meant to do. The Champion sees it otherwise.
Aside from spells, he sometimes will grant his followers a powerful boon based for good services. He is a loving god, but he does not have patience for repetitive failures, and his wrath can be terrible. To date, his only enemy is the god Zantara, with whom he shares a friendly rivalry.
