This past weekend, I went to Yaoi-Con over in San Francisco to help promote Fanime as a memeber of the marketing division. Only problem was that I was going to be the only one there because everyone else either flaked out or got sick (as what happened to the person in charge, who as I found out today caught mono gonk ). Luckilly, I was able to get someone from school to come and help out by bribing him with a dealer's badge and a free hotel room. Read some manga, watched the ever-entertaining Bishonen Auction, played the Guitar Hero 2 demo, and just had some general fun hanging out with people. I also got some gifts for friends and some pins for my backpack.

The Monday after the con was normal. Gave out the gifts I got for everyone. We saw some dogs around campus sniffing for drugs, but that was about it. Next day: School closed. Apparently, there was a bomb threat the day before, and that's what the dogs were looking for. Now here's somethign interesting: One of the pins I got says "someone set us up the bomb" from the game Zero Wing. When I saw it, this one just seemed to draw me in. Indeed, someone set us up the bomb! sweatdrop rofl

Classes have effectivly been shut down for today and tomorrow, so I'll be heading back on Tursday. Because we didn't get to hold our meeting today, I'm gonna have to rethink how we're gonna manage the remaining time the anime club have left this smester .
