So, I started my freshman year of high school last Wednesday. I was a ervous, I must admit, but not as badly as I thought I'd be. I was more...excited. New school, older kids, finally getting away from the annoying-a** sixth graders. Ahhh, paradise. Well, the high school as three floors, as oppossed to the junior high, which only has two. And I never get a chance to go o my locker. And I got lost a few times the first day. But nice teachers helped me on my way, and I'd learned the lay of the land by that Friday. And now it's a week later, and I'm loving it. First period, I have Global (Social Studies) and my teacher's kinda "Blah, yeah, whatever", and he "will get progressively LOUDER throughout the year!" But second period Drawing & Painting I makes up for that, especially since Molly-Molly (one of my BEST friends) was put into my class today. Anywho, third period I have math, and I have to run up from the first floor all the way to the third. My teacher is really nice, and hilarious. A little too perky sometimes, but that can be a good thing. Fourth period, I run all the way back to the first floor (the other side of the building, too, I might add) to band (yay!). The teacher's okay, I guess. But I love it anyway! Then it's back to the second floor for English, with one of my FAVORITE teachers. He's really laid back and he can be pretty amusing, despite his lectures, which are actually quite enjoyable. Next, I have French. Love the language, DESPISE the teacher. And she's the only French teacher in the district. Ugh. This is my second year with her, and she's still not any better. Okay, but going on, my schedule gets kinda confusing seventh period. On Fridays, I have study hall (which has no specific place, so the room it's in keeps changing). Tuedays and Thursdays, I have gym. Not my favorite, but whatever. But I LOVE Mondays and Wednesdays, because I have a double AP Biology period. AP, by the way, stands for Advanced Placement, which is like a college-level class given in high school. It's usually only offered to seniors, but they decided to give we lowly freshman a test run. So, we're pretty much the guinea pigs. But my Bio teacher is another of my favorite teachers. She's really cool, down-to-earth, funny, and she gets the pressure we're under, being freshman taking a college class and all. Then, after school, I meet my other BEST friend Katie out front, where we chat and then get on our respective buses and head home. Sounds good, huh? So, all in all, awesome new school, great classes and teachers, and what seems to be an awesome start to a great freshman year. I'll keep ya posted.
Yours truly, *~*KT McG*~* Class of 2010
