So, today was a good day. It was hot and humid, and my friends and I were supposed to go to the beach, but something happened with the breaks on my dad's car, and he wanted to stay closer to home, so we went to the local pool instead. Katie, Molly, Emma, and Alyssa came with me, and we had a lot of fun. Plus, Katie talked me into diving off the diving board (which has freaked me out over the past few years). Oh, but not just one board, but TWO! And she did it by convincing me I could get an Oscar for doing so (don't ask). Then, we were throwing each other around for a bit, and eventually had lunch. Later on, we decided to do a musical number for the very bored-looking lifeguards, singing lines from "I Believe I Can Fly" while cannon-balling off the diving boards (you just had to be there). All in all, it was a strange, yet entertaining and amusing, day.
