Inhale.
The river cascades through the air,
Thundering as it hits the pond bellow
The mist rises,
Beading on my bare skin.
Exhale.
The water rushes past me,
Leaping up against my legs,
Pushing me on,
Urging me to jump.
Focus.
My feet are planted solidly.
I will jump when I am ready.
I push down against the unyielding rock beneath me,
Then leap from the cliff edge into the air.
Fly.
I pierce through the air,
Lean body straight as an arrow.
The wind blasts past me,
Trying to make me fold and fall.
Fight
I tighten my muscles,
I will not fold until I’m ready.
I hold my breath as I draw closer to the surface.
Then feel my body slide through the liquid portal.
Submerge
The water engulfs me,
And the thunder of the falls becomes faint.
I drift in the dark calm piece for a moment,
Before reemerging reborn.

It's the bitter taste of loosing everything that I've held so dear!
Is back in business once again.
