It really pisses me off that people always say that the only way to improve at art is to ******** up. That is such bullshit, you learn by being taught and having things explained to you, not by figuring out s**t by yourself.
You don't hear people saying that the only way to learn how to drive a car is to run over a few pedestrians first.
Whats worse are all of the art tutorials for faces that teach you the goddamn ******** circle thing. Okay, great, now I can draw a face from the front, big ******** whoop, how the hell do I rotate the face?
And every website and book say the exact same ******** thing.
"Oh, just change where the lines are"
...If I change where the ******** lines are that won't help me know where or how to draw the ******** jawline, or neck you ******** twats. Plus the fact that I have no idea how to draw eyes nor mouths on an angle.
