s**t. I love Frank Black.
He's responsible for probably half of the music I like. And I can't even say that I'm a fan of all of his music.
Frank Black is a member of the Pixies (an amazing and timeless band). But he also has a great solo library and a considerable amount of greatness with the Catholics.
This song in particular is one of my favorites. Frank Black has a lot of songs I can lose myself in. There are certain songs that come on when I shuffle my music and I just say "******** yeah this song" and close my eyes and enjoy the sound of the guitar, bass, and drums. The first 20 seconds or so of this song are juicy. It's harder to explain my thoughts than I expected.
I like a lot of bass in my music. I don't mean wub wub bass, I mean bow bow bass. Good drummers are also a large factor for me, being a (bad) drummer myself. Drums and bass are what I focus on most when listening to anything. I tried learning to play bass a few years ago, but I wasn't any good at it, and I have no musical talent to be able to invent a bass line that would sound cool. I just tried to learn how to play bass lines from songs I liked.
In conclusion: This song is enthralling. I genuinely hope you dig it. Maybe next time I'll pick a song I have more to say about. lawl
