Personality
- Kirito is rather calm individual and is usually seen smiling; he rarely ever losing his temper. Believing that people who abandon their comrades are scum and does not hesitate to punish them for their behavior. He seems to have no qualms about having killed his own foster father, and sensei, thinking that it is natural for a pupil to surpass his teacher in true fight. As such, Kirito thinks that samurai and ninja alike who are defeated by their senseis are nothing children. Kirito sadly, yet comically, suffers from motion sickness, describing the phenomenon as one befitting of a "real" Warrior.
He enjoys watching fights, however, he becomes disappointed when are fights are finished rather quickly. He also desires to fight strong opponents, becoming very excited, relishing in the fact that an opponent was much stronger than he had previously thought.
Kirito has a silent arrogance, often utilizing a portion of his ability as swordsman, until he deems the opponent worthy enough to taste the full extent of his abilities as ninja.

History
Kirito was abducted from his home at the age of 2 years old. He was placed under a genjutsu to force him to believe that the criminal organization that organized his abduction were his family and home. He was extensively trained in the art ninjutsu by the rouge ninja hired in the organization. It was then that he became to know his true ability as a ninja. When he was seven, his organization planned a hit on the land of iron, wanting to take it's people and resources for it own. The organization was wiped out, and the samurai who protected the land, took pity on Kirito and spared his life. With his captures dead, the genjutsus effect slowly faded. The samurai adopted the child into their village and began to train him. As the few memories started to return, the young Kirito, now eleven years old, started to speak of his real parents to Ishinn; the man who adopted Kirito as his son. The one thing that kept coming up more was his families insignia, fan emblem.
During a training exercise, Kirito was instructed to fight his foster father as if this was a real life battle. The fight was one sided with Kirito constantly on the defensive. With Ishinn fighting with an extreme killing intent, something awoken in Kirito; his eyesight became more focused, and Ishinn's movements so much more readable than ever before. He brought the tides of the battle in his favor, and disarmed his foster father and ended the match. It then confirmed by Ishinn who the Kirito was and where he was from. In the following years to come, Kirito would train his skills as a samurai, and hone his birthright as an Uchiha, becoming a superior warrior.
At the age of seventeen, he decided that he would meet his mother and father. Though Ishinn did not approve of such thought, knew it was a matter of time before Kirito would leave on his own any way, so he decided to give him one final test. Kirito would have to face his adoptive father and sensei, in one last duel to the death. If not Kirito could not win then he would have to remain in the village and continue his training until he could. The fight lasted days with both of them reaching the end of their stamina and chakra. Kirito had showed his respect as a samurai, and hadn't used any ninja art or his sharingon; fighting only with sword play, and kenjutsu. Near the end of the fight, Ishinn began to overwhelm the exhausted Kirito, and in a final push Kirito broke Ishinn's katana, spinning on his heel, and reversed stabbed him in his stomach.
Ishinn fell onto his back, smile of pride on his face. With nothing left to teach, he gave Kirito his blessing. The loss of the man who raised him as his own resonated to Kirito's core, and he fell to his knees in tears. He cried for Ishinn, and his sorrow the tomoe in his sharingon began to spin, and morph. With the tails of the tomoe going inward, toward his pupil stopping at the ring around it. With the wider part of the tomoe pushed to the edges of his iris making a solid thick black line. His Mangekyo Sharingon had awakened and it would be the final gift from his father Ishinn. Kirito would soon leave the village and make his way to the land of fire. Using the information he could gather up about Konoha, and his clan the Uchiha, he traveled for a whole year, training along the way, and defeating bandits and thieves for their purses so he could have meals and rooms at inns. When he finally reached Konoha, he was halted at the entrance, by the ninja. He revealed his Sharingon to them, and demanded to speak to the Uchiha clan. After few hours of deliberation, he was granted his wish. He met with the clan leader, but his reunion with his family never happened. It would happen that his mother grief stricken with the loss of her child became ill, and died the following year. His father died in battle, four years ago. Their graves were next to each other, and visited it everyday for the next year, telling them stories of his life.
Kirito learned much about his clan, his parents and himself, while he stayed in the Uchiha compound. The midwife who helped during his birth told him how he got his name, and friends of his parents told him about them. Seeing as he was never an official member of the hidden leaf village, he didn't see much of life staying there, so he left. Spending the time up to current year, training and living off the land as a vagrant. He was last seen near the Ryūchi Cave, training and smithing weapons.
