Name: Baal Haarmon Dalcar
Kingdom: Circe
Pecking Order: Middle
Age: Twenty-eight
Race: Fallen Arc-Angel
Personality: Baal's personality is almost the complete opposite of Uthgar's personality. Even though they are twin brothers, Baal is calm, cool, and collected. He can be seen as the quiet however, his silence is not due to a lack of self-confidence; it is because he never shows fear for anything. Interestingly, despite his cold persona and ruthlessness he is an honorable warrior who follows a strict combat discipline; he despises fighting dirty and he refuses to attack his opponents from behind. It would appear that Uthgar and Baal were close at one time during their childhood. This shows that despite their rivalry and mutual dislike for one another, Baal in the end truly does care for Uthgar, but does not show it since he considers such emotion to be weak.
Unlike Uthgar, Baal is willing to embrace more ruthless tactics, and seeks to gain power. While Uthgar seeks to protect Circe from the invasions, Baal wants to conquer, regardless of the consequences to those around him. Despite his normal personality of cold dismissal, he does cherish two things - the Enchanted-blade Kirin's Fang, a dark O-Katana, and his own family.
In relations to his sisters, like Uthgar, Baal can be overprotective. He's swift to act upon any action done towards them, and won't be easily swayed into utterly destroying those who oppose them. Especially Uthgar, he feels that his brother's death -if it were to happen- should be by his hands alone. It is something of a right of passage for Baal, and he would do everything in his power to ensure his brother's safety so that it could be him that would one day face him, in a honorable duel to the death.
Bio: The fraternal twin of Uthgar Dalco, as well as the second child of the Circe royal families, Baal is to say nothing like his siblings. It is said that in all things righteous and holy, you will find them in Uthgar, and all things damned and tainted, you find it in Baal. When Baal was born, he possessed similar appearances as Uthgar, but when they became five, in a attempt to attack the royal family, Baal was cursed. The curse corrupted Baal's appearance altering him externally but internally as well. What was once long radiant blond hair became silver, his skin darkened paled out and wings withered and faded away. Despite the some of the best healer's throughout the land attempts to purge the young prince from the curse, his fate was sealed. Yet, the sickly prince still persevered changing his name from Xhaiden to Baal Harmon.
As they two boys grew, trained and fought together, it became apparent that their ideals clashed. Where Uthgar thought the curse was a hindrance and corrupted his brother's true power, Baal took it as a blessing, and wholeheartedly accepted his fate. Seeing the curse gave him a power that his family did not possess. In the wars that came, Baal fought alongside his twin, but his reason were not to protect the Kingdom of Circe, but to dominate the other kingdoms into submission. Especially when their parents made Uthgar the heir to the thrown, Baal felt he could make another Kingdom his own. He see's this arranged marriage as his way to gain such a goal. With the Circian army under his control, and the royal treasury in his grasp as it's treasurer; the prince has the means now he just needs the proper queen at his side to make it all possible.
Bethrothed: Hoping for Catherine of Pyrax
Plot ideas: Baal having a rocky relationship with Uthgar. It's not a hatred between the two but an inability to see each other's ideals and perspectives. Being the dominant person that he is, it would be funny to have someone combat his say in things or habits. A person hard to break.
Weapons: Baal uses a katana as his primary weapon, the blade is enchanted, allowing it to never dull and remain sharp. It is rumored that his blade can cut anything even cut through the fabric of reality; though this has never been proven. Baal though has been seen using it with such skill that he is capable of creating an area of distortion with a diameter of 2 meters, within an area around himself of 15 meters. Within this area, he is able to replicate a quick-draw technique up to 15 times at once upon unsheathing his weapon, translating to 15 slashes within the area. Baal must be able to sense the target within 15 meters for his ability to take effect, and is limited to sheathing and unsheathing his weapon once per turn.
Powers/Abilities: Phantasm Shift - Baal is capable of a form of teleportation, as long as it's a place he's been or in his field of vision, the prince can vanish and reappear in his chosen destination. This teleport resembles his figure blurring before completely fading out of sight.
Carnage Cain: Due to his curse, Baal's wings never fully grew naturally. So while walking about he does not have wings that those of his family and race possess. Though this bypassed through a special transformation, increasing his natural abilities while also returning his wings to him. Though his appearance is somewhat demonic in nature, leading most to believe that his curse derived from either Pyrax or Drankova. While transformed, he's significantly faster, stronger and can perform far more effective attack techniques than in his normal state. This comes with a drawback, each time he transforms his curse perverts his lineage, making him less and less a being from Circe, turning him into something else.
