Hello and thank you for having come this far! I sincerely hope you will stick around to the end, find something you like and end up messaging me. I promise I don't bite (often or without provocation) and while I might be slow in responding I WILL eventually reply.
Working two jobs consumes a lot of time. Mixing that with the time needed for sleep, taking care of oneself, being married and other duties/responsibilities as well as any other random ******** the universe might toss out when in a playful mood means that I don't have as much time as I would like to play online. I try, though, I really do and I will promise you that if you wish to share a story with me I will do my best to make my posts worth the time it took for you to get them.
So. Now that we have that out of the way...

...[******** LOVE plot- and world-building. OM NOM NOM. Can't get enough. Loves me some brainstorming sessions. Just got one line of something you want to build something around? Toss it out to me. I can take damn near anything and turn it into a story. So don't think that just because you are rolling up at my doorstep without something substantial does not mean I won't be interested. You'd (maybe) be surprised.

...want anything we start to be long-term. I am not going to freak out if you ditch me because I understand s**t happens and we may not click. I don't fret over stuff like that but if it is something I am doing that makes you want to leave the RP PLEASE tell me and we can try to work it out. It's one thing if the interest just fizzles; that happens, but it is another thing if you are no longer interested in the story for reasons we can fix. I simply hate to lose an RP partner if there is a chance we can salvage the connection.
...actively look for someone that loves to share a good story; I don't care about how long your posts are as long as I get something I can work with in return. I don't care what you consider yourself because I know I can keep up with anything tossed at me. I'd rather have someone enjoying themselves than worrying about mirroring what I do. Let the story flow; quality really does beat quantity. That being said, I would like to be able to understand your posts. I am no Grammar Nazi and mistakes happen; I am human and I ******** up all the time like it's my job to do so and I am hitting up overtime so I don't expect everyone to be perfect all the time, always and forever. I just take a great deal of pride in what I write and consider it a good sign if the other person does, too.

...play all kinds of characters with all kinds of predilections; I have a veritable gluttony of characters that run all along every kind of spectrum you can think of. What I don't have is the time to name them all so I will let the situation or plot decide which one I go with; I used to only play with one character when I first joined the site but I don't get the chance to bring her out nearly enough anymore. I am looking for characters. I am looking to play characters. Just because I am a female does not mean I cannot play a male. I just have to be in the mood to do so.

...do messengers of any kind. I haven't done messengers in years and unless it is a life-threatening event I do not foresee myself doing them in the future. The basic answer is because when I am focusing on my writing I really want to be able to focus on my writing. The broader answer involves a delicious rant with many curse words and quaint turn-of-phrasing which would make a pirate blush.
...expect you to drop everything and come running and ready to post just because I am online. I try to get on at least a few minutes each day (even if it is just on my phone) to check and see what is going on but that does not mean I will be on for the rest of the day. I respect that you have a life offline as well so I won't freak out if you don't reply to me within a second of PMing you. All I ask is that you respect me in the same way. Life happens despite our best intentions.

...want you to take it personal if I can't reply quickly. I swear it REALLY is ME and not you.
...mind using pictures for characters but it will not be real people (except for one or two characters) and it may take me a bit to find a picture I am happy with unless I already have something for that character. As a general rule I don't like using pictures but I do not mind if dat story is that good.
...mind sending you links to character descriptions/wiki/profiles/supplemental information/whatever for canons/established characters you might want to play in the fandoms I have listed that you don't feel one hundred percent comfortable with for whatever reason. I don't mind helping you out since I know how daunting it can be to play an established character (one of the many reasons I don't play canons much anymore myself) and believe me, if my pointing you some resources out that will help you get comfortable playing Dexter Morgan for me than I will do whatever it takes.

-Period pieces with no fictional aspects are out; I find history intriguing but when it comes to writing I need more than real life history to keep my interest. Strictly speaking I am not good with period pieces anyway unless I am given room to be creative with details.
