It really is such a troubling thing.
To get the words flowing from graphite stained fingers;
moving as fluidly as water.
Until your hands hurt and you
don't know where the paper went.
Maybe it won't turn out into a masterpiece,
at least not the one you were hoping for.
Maybe your handwriting is a pathetic scrawl, from
writing so fast your fingers ache.
That doesn't really matter though.
The real magic comes from
the daydream that you
trap yourself in
Until the minutes slip from your fingers
moving as fluidly as
a river of words.
